  • Before
    This is the original dog kennel which was demolished and replaced with a delightful garden villa.
  • Under way
    The main structure is up. Pillars to support the veranda and roof are in place – next the roof.
  • Room with a view
    The windows and patio doors are all large to allow in plenty of light and views of the garden and surrounding vineyards.
  • Internal walls
    Bricklayers erect the internal partition walls making a large bedroom, bathroom and open plan kitchen & living room.
  • Internal walls
    The hollow bricks are quick to lay and provide space for the conduits to be installed within the walls.
  • Conduits
    The conduit tubes are all in place for the electricity, water and gas supplies. Plastering next.
  • Plastering
    The plaster is called “Reboco” and in this case has a finish coat of very fine china clay making it hard and very smooth to the touch.
  • External walls
    The external walls are ready for rendering and then paint.
  • Patio doors
    Large double glazed patio doors access the veranda and outside dining area.
  • Veranda
    The veranda and patio are finished. The white sun shutters provide privacy and ventilation on summer nights.

    Facing the evening sun, not overlooked and close to the swimming pool what more could you want!
